TEDxSaigon is honored to welcome TED APAC Partnership Representative – Mr. Charlie Meredith to Vietnam for an official working visit in Hanoi (April 1–4, 2026), with a tentative follow-up visit to Ho Chi Minh City in May.
This visit marks a strategic expansion of TED in Southeast Asia, strengthening the connection between Vietnam and the global TED ecosystem. With 137M monthly global views and 39M users in Asia-Pacific, TED is witnessing strong growth in Vietnam—reaching 1.7M monthly users and growing 10–20% YoY, highlighting the country’s rising demand for ideas and innovation.
Our Founding Organizer, Mrs. Ngoc Anh, Hoang, will directly arrange & accompany Mr. Charlie Meredith throughout the visit—facilitating meaningful exchanges and working sessions with potential partners across Vietnam.

TED: BEYOND TALKS, TOWARDS A GLOBAL ECOSYSTEM
While widely recognized for its stage talks, TED today operates as a global ecosystem—connecting media, education, creative content, and cross-border collaboration. Through platforms such as TED, TEDx Talks, and TED-Ed on YouTube, alongside TED.com, podcasts, and social media, the ecosystem reaches over 137 million monthly views and 85.7 million global users, with TEDx Talks alone surpassing 44 million subscribers and billions of views.
Beyond spreading ideas, TED drives real-world impact through its initiatives and community—turning ideas into action and long-term influence.
At the core of this ecosystem is the global TEDx community, present in over 170 countries, with more than 3,600 events annually and hundreds of thousands of published talks—creating a network where local ideas can scale into global impact.

EXPLORING PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES IN VIETNAM
During this visit, discussions will focus on identifying and developing partnership opportunities within the TED ecosystem, including:
Strategic collaborations with Vietnam-based companies and organizations
Identifying “Big Ideas” with the potential for global amplification
Exploring formats for content, media, and knowledge exchange
Direct consultation with TED and TEDxSaigon representatives
With the support of TEDxSaigon, these sessions are designed to be structured, selective, and outcome-oriented—ensuring alignment between local partners and global standards.
EXPANDING TED’S PRESENCE IN VIETNAM
Building on these exchanges, TEDxSaigon is working towards expanding TED-related initiatives in Vietnam through multiple directions:
Developing Vietnam-driven stories for global platforms such as TED and TED-Ed
Launching creative campaigns and branded storytelling with local organizations
Expanding media, editorial, and content collaborations with Vietnamese brands
Introducing new formats beyond the stage, including training, business programs, and regional workshops
This signals a shift from individual events to a more integrated ecosystem—where ideas, content, and partnerships evolve continuously.

LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP WITH VIETNAMESE ENTERPRISES
TED and TEDxSaigon representatives aim to build long-term partnerships with Vietnamese businesses and organizations—going beyond sponsorship to co-develop initiatives that create sustainable value.
This visit opens a clear and structured pathway for local partners to engage with the TED ecosystem—from shaping ideas and exploring collaborations to activating diverse formats of connection. TEDxSaigon will continue to act as a bridge, working alongside partners to translate local potential into global opportunities, and ultimately bring Vietnamese ideas to the world.
